- Begin at Hwaseong Haenggung palace.
- Choose a short fortress-gate section.

Allow time for the local connection. Palace programmes and night openings vary; check Visit Suwon and the last suitable return connection.
Access & pace
Ramparts follow slopes and include stairs; a full wall circuit is demanding. Ask the visitor centre for a shorter ground-level route and confirm palace thresholds and bus boarding.

Take an Incheon-bound service: some Line 1 express trains end at Dongincheon. Check museum closure days before making an indoor stop the day’s anchor.
Access & pace
Chinatown rises up a hill with stairs and sloping lanes. Keep to a short lower-street visit if needed; check lifts and cultural-centre access, and expect busy food queues.
