The ocean mask is the inverse of clipped land polygons. This generalized
western Peninsula overview omits small islands and current ice conditions.
It is for online exploration, not navigation, landing or expedition planning.
Place references come from BAS and UKAHT; they are not verified landing points.

The city GeoJSON files are clipped and simplified derivatives of OpenStreetMap
data, retrieved on 2026-09-07, and are distributed under ODbL 1.0. Each file
retains its source timestamp, bounding box and license metadata. Display the
linked attribution visibly with the map. The same city data files may be
linked as the downloadable source data for the displayed map.

Preparation: bounded Overpass extracts, 3 m topology-preserving simplification,
0.000001 degree coordinate grid, roads grouped only by matching labels/style.
Sea areas are assembled from the actual directed OSM coastline boundaries.
Guide-place content and application code are separate from this dataset.

This is a static guide overview, not live map data, verified access information,
or a routing graph.
